Former Chief of State, Imo State Government house and the Governorship candidate of the Action Alliance, AA, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu has adopted a 20 year old brilliant young man who built an aircraft and given him scholarship into the Ugwumba Leadership Centre.
Making
the announcement on his Social Medial platform, Uche Nwosu wrote “Surfing my
Facebook recently, I read a post about a young man who is naturally gifted with
the knowledge of aeronautics and manufacturing of movable machines. I read
further and was excited to know that I share same state with such talent. I
requested through my aide to find this young promising boy so I can step in and
assist him”.
I have spoken to the boy and his family, as I encouraged him not to rest on his oars. In the cause of my discussion with him, I got to know that his parents are not financially buoyant to see to their son's tertiary education. I was moved to be part of their success story. The young man, Kenneth Oluebube Akobundu from Umuezeala in Ehime Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State, expressed his desire to read mechanical engineering at the Federal University of Technology Owerri.
I have therefore taken it upon myself through the Ugwumba Centre for Leadership Development in Africa to train him in the university and ensure he imparts his world with his technical know-how. Such talent is rare and in a world where science and technology rules, Kenneth is destined for greatness.
I
encourage philanthropists in Nigeria to fish out people like Kenneth and
influence their lives positively, you can change the life of someone today and this is what he has done for him
