Former Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo has been announced winner of the Anambra Governorship Election.

This is coming after the Chief Returning Officer of the election in the state, Professor Florence Obi collated the results from the withheld Ihiala Local Government Election, which was the only local government election results pending from the 20 already declared.

In the Ihiala LGA election, APC won 242 votes, PDP won 2,485 and APGA won with 8, 283.

Announcing Chukwuma Soludo winner, the collation officer, Prof. Florence Obi said he won the governorship 112, 229 for APGA while APC got 43, 285 and PDP got 53, 807 and YPP got 21, 262.
