The Ojodu Local Council Development Area under the leadership of David Olusegun Odunmbaku (DOS), on Thursday started rehabilitation of Mokuolu Street in Ogba, as according to the LCDA, rehabilitation of the road will ease traffic around Ogba-Yaya Abatan axis.
There
was a persistent demand from residents to repair the road.
In a press release issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Chairman, Jumu'ah Abiodun, said that the intervention of the council chairman, full rehabilitation of the road has started from Yaya Abatan axis down to the end of the road.
To
ease traffic around Ojodu LCDA, filling of all the potholes and repairing a
stretch of Ajayi road has commenced.
This is coming under four months after Odunmbaku assumed office. It is pertinent to mention that Ojodu LCDA has just completed rehabilitation of Ayo Alabi road, the press release said.
Odunmbaku
has implored the officials to focus on roads with maximum damage and
immediately start the works.
