Why The Impeachment Of Amara Iwuanyanwu As Deputy Speaker, Imo State House Of Assembly May Not Stand.

Amara Iwuanyanwu.

The impeachment of the Deputy Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly, Amara Iwuanyanwu came as a rude shock somewhat to those of us who are not in tune with the workings in the government of Imo State and for some reasons, we believe that Amara Iwuanyanwu's impeachment by his colleagues yesterday may not stand the test of time.

Findings reveal that the very Young impeached Deputy Speaker, Amara Iwuanayanwu is very close to the Governor of the state, Hope Uzodinma, with whom, the orchestration for the former Speaker, whom he also served under as Deputy, Chiji Collins was hatched and carried out successfully.

Amara Iwuanayanwu is also very instrumental to the pocketing of the House of Assembly in Imo State by the Governor, Hope Uzodinma, a strategy that has helped him silence opposing factors in the state, especially from the House of Assembly, thereby giving the governor absolute freedom to do anything he liked.

also on record is the fact that Amara Iwuanyanwu was neither replaced, nor was anyone appointed to stand in as Deputy Speaker, making the assumption clearer that his supposed impeachment may not stand, especially when the Governor had not sanctioned it.

So, as it stands right now, Amara Iwuanyanwu may still reclaim his position or may go higher to become Speaker if another orchestration is carried out quickly before the house decides to pick a replacement for him immediately.

Truth is, the Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodinma may still needs his support , not as an ordinary member of the house, but a principal officer, so some of his desires are carried very well without opposing figures.

So, the chances of Amara Iwuanyanwu returning as Deputy Speaker is very high, as there is no one occupying that yet and the governor would make sure that happens, as there are indications that the governor is not ready to loose grip over the house members.

The Governor, Hope Uzodinma would want to retain Amara Iwuanyanwu in his corner, so he would be his eyes and nose in that.
