The daughter of the former Military Governor of Lagos State, now Chairman and Chief Executive of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, Rt. General Muhammad Buba Marwa, Zainab Marwa-Abubakar has been appointed Special Assistant to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Muhammed Musa Bello.
In her response, she wrote, “I am so blessed and for that I give Almighty God the absolute glory. Which of the favours of My Lord will I deny? None. I was appointed as the Special Assistant on Community Relations to the Honourable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory.
As a 40 year old mother of 5, who started her career after 10 years of being a house wife, I am beyond happy to say the least. I started this journey in 2018 with the Vision of paving a way for my future self to use my background in Law and Service Management to be a part of the solution to the ills that plague Nigeria from the Top down.
I don't want to be on the sidelines complaining and that is why I ran for Reps even while pregnant. I will use this office as a stepping stone to actualize my vision and I pledge to execute my mandate with due diligence.
