At 5pm this evening, a former Commissioner for Commerce, and Governorship aspirant in Lagos State, sent yours sincerely a Whatsaap message which contained information that the former first female deputy speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, who was announced dead earlier, had risen from the dead.
The information said that
the Former Deputy Speaker , Hon Adetoun Adediran was pronounced dead early morning
of Wednesday January 5,2022 and as arrangements for burial was finalized. One Ayodeji
was quoted to have said that with undertakers already ready for the grim task
of burying the 53 years old APC stalwart.
Suddenly just before the 2pm
slated for her burial, signs of life was detected in her and she was ferried to
the hospital and jubilation replaced the wailing by some of her associates who
had besieged her home to mourn her demise.
So, immediately this piece
of news broke, the Publisher of “Precious Eze’s Blog”, put a call
through to the former Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker of the Lagos State
House of Assembly, who debunked the story and told us that as at the time we
were making the enquiry, the woman was already buried.
The video attached here is the one the said
Ayodeji claim was that of her associates jubilating as she was said to have resurrected,
but this is not true.
The beautiful this in all of these was that we took our time to put calls through to ascertain what the true situation was and truly, late Hon. Adetoun Adediran has been buried.
