2023 PRESIDENCY: Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo Should Be Allowed To Fly The Flag Of The APC By Other Politicians – Jolomi Ejeye.

The Director General if the Osinbajo Youth Support Group, Mr. Jolomi Ejeya, has said that the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo is the most qualified Presidential candidate to pilot the affairs of Nigeria, as factual statistical data across the 36 states of the Federation shows that about 20 million Nigerian Youths prefer V.P, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo to all other contenders in the Presidential race.

According to him, we, in the Youth Constituency nicknamed the Vice President, ‘Starboy’ because of his unique style, fondness and empowerment of Nigerian Youths across the 36 states of the Federation.

All Aspirants vying for the Office of the President under the APC, should step down for V.P Osinbajo because they don’t have the strength of Osinbajo’s support base in the Youth Constituency. Over 20 million youths across the nation are calling on Osinbajo to run for President and numbers mean a lot in Politics. Osinbajo’s support base within the Youth Constituency is more than the 15 million votes polled by President Buhari in 2019 to win the Presidential race. My advice to Nigerian Youths now is, go and get your Permanent Voter’s Card, wishing Osinbajo is our President is not enough, we have to vote him into Office.

Osinbajo is fond of Youths and has maintained healthy and positive relationship with Youths since his time as a lecturer back in 1981, in the University of Lagos before he became a Professor of Law, Department of Public Law, Faculty of Law, University of Lagos. Being a lecturer in a university is evident of impacting the lives of Youths Positively and it should be known that after V.P Prof. Yemi Osinbajo’s tenure as Attorney General in Lagos State (1999 – 2007), he continued working in the University of Lagos for another 6 years as a Professor of Law due to his passion for building Youths. It should be NOTED that, “Osinbajo spent about 2 decades of his life as a lecturer, impacting the lives of numerous Youths positively”.

V.P Osinbajo is also very popular, Influential, trusted and well respected in the South West Region. It was based on the Vice President’s Political Prowess and Political Influence that made the entirety of the South West region vote for President Mohammadu Buhari in the 2015 and 2019 Presidential Election.

I want to respectfully advise a National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to continue his Political Career as a King Maker, a role the popular Political Godfather plays like an expert for over a decade now. As the saying goes, “Once a Senator, a Senator forever”, and so I am urging Senator Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to thwart any ambition, idea or propaganda in his camp pertaining to his Candidacy for President. Osinbajo is more Influential than Tinubu in the South West Region of Nigeria as seen both in the 2015 and 2019 Presidential General Elections. Osinbajo’s ties and relationship with the Awolowo Family have forever endeared him in the hearts of the Yorubas. Osinbajo married Obafemi Awolowo’s granddaughter, now known as Dolapo Osinbajo, Wife of the Vice President. Obafemi Awolowo was the Premier of Western Nigeria.

I want to also condemn in strong terms, the recent statement made by a National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Palace of the “Aalafin of Oyo”, where he advised Youths to wait for him to become President before Youths can Aspire. That statement made by the Former Governor of Lagos State is demoralizing and tantamount to bullying of Nigerian Youths, The Jagaban of Borgu Kingdom, is trying to use his age, wealth, connections, power and Influence to bully Nigerian Youths.

In the months to come, the National Executive Committee of the Osinbajo Youth Support Group (OYSG) shall be travelling around the 36 states of the Nation to sensitize Youths on the need for them to acquire their Permanent Voters card, so we can use it to arm ourselves and vote in Osinbajo. Osinbajo is Intellectually sagacious, humble, honest, accessible, diligent, a man of integrity and above all, a leader we can trust that won’t fail Nigerian Citizens. We also know that under Osinbajo’s Presidency, there would be strong adherence to the rule of law by the Department of State Services (DSS), the Nigerian Army, Police, all Law Enforcement Agencies and Citizens of this Country. There would be equality in the distribution of wealth and Injustice would not be tolerated by virtue of the Vice President’s Law Training.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is ordained by God to rule Nigeria which is why he survived an Helicopter Crash on February 2, 2019 in Kabba, Kogi State. I want to commend the Vice President for performing the recent Groundbreaking Ceremony of the Angiama, Southern Ijaw link Bridge in Bayelsa State.
