OSINACHI NWACHUKWU: I Did Not Kill My Wife, I Am Being Accused Falsely – Husband, Peter Nwachukwu.

The Couple.

As expected, the husband of Gospel Singer who died last week Friday, Pastor Peter Nwachukwu, has denied the wife battery and assault allegations leveled against him, claiming that his wife had been sick since November last year.

Peter Nwachukwu said he had taken her to first, the Federal Medical Center (FMC), later to Gwagwalada General Hospital, and then to National hospital, Abuja where she finally died, failing to disclose the nature of her illness he claimed killed her.

News has it that Mr. Peter Nwachukwu was arrested at 11a.m on Monday, the 11th of April 11, in handcuffs and escorted into the police van stationed in front of the Lugbe police station in Abuja, as the police said they were driving him to their house to provide evidence of the hospitals he claimed to have taken his deceased wife to for treatment.

Meanwhile, an autopsy has now been carried out on the famous Nigerian gospel musician Osinachi Nwachukwu’s corpse to ascertain the real cause of her death and the autopsy became necessary after the late singer’s husband, alleged to have been responsible for her death, denied any wrongdoing.

While the police await the autopsy results, he was then transferred to the force headquarters in Abuja for further interrogations.

But in an interview with the Vanguard Newspaper, the deceased elder sister, Favour Made had alleged that Peter Nwachukwu killed her younger sister, dismissing insinuation or claims that the she died of cancer, adding that she had always been a victim of abuse from her husband.
