Saint Louis Owo Old Girls Association (SLOOGA) gets new leadership as the outgone president, Mrs. Oyeyemi Jimi - Salami hands over the baton of leadership to Mrs. Ebunoluwa Malumi.
Speaking at the 4th Annual General Meeting of the association, Salami, one of the founding members of the association, said that it was a journey that kept her consistently on the road, since she lives in Lagos and Saint Louis Grammar School, Owo is situated, in, Ondo State. She kept relating with the principals of the school both of whom were old students at several times in several years, before the association kicked off. This marked the beginning of great reunion.
She said "for the first time, all generations of the schools old girls were assembled. Friends can reunited after many years of separations. Seniors and Juniors could link up.". The success of the 5 years tenure was a collective efforts of all the founding members who dedicated their time and energy and resources She said " it's as great as the story of Paul planted, Appolos watered and God gave the increase.".
It was the commencement of a great brain storming and progressive plans. . Massive projects were executed during her tenure.
Malumi,
the incoming President promise to continue from where Salami stopped, as she
says together, "we will all take SLOOGA to a greater heights. She also
made a special plea, saying, in achieving these heights, we will be knocking on
doors of both members, the government, corporate organisations and all well
meaning Nigerians. Mrs. Patience Otrofanowei, the vice president says, Most of
the efforts of the Association will be geared towards making Saint Louis
Grammar School, Owo, one of the best and outstanding schools in all
ramifications.
