72 Years Old Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje Heading To The Dumping Ground For Former Governors, Obtains Form For Senate.

The controversial governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduje, has obtained the senatorial form of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He is seeking election to represent Kano north senatorial district at the red chamber, a seat currently being occupied by Senator Barau Jibrin.

On the 8th of May, Ganduje endorsed his deputy, Nasiru Gawuna, to take over from him as Governor of Kano State, while his former Commissioner for Local Government, Murtala Garo, former commissioner for local government and chieftaincy affairs, was reportedly selected to be was selected as the deputy governorship running mate to Gawuna.

Ganduje was deputy to Rabiu Kwankwaso from 1999 to 2003 and 2011 to 2015, later became Governor in 2015 and now; he is heading to the upper chamber, where his colleague former governors retire to.
