Barely any last minute change, on Wednesday 25th May 2022 the All Progressive Congress will conduct the party's primary election to determine who will fly the party's flag come 2023 general election for Senator position across the country.

Already, it is no longer news that Senator Nkechi Nwaogu has throw her hat in the ring to contest for Senate the Abia Central Senatorial District .

Recall that Nwaogu declared her intent to contest for senate last month in Umuahia where she maintained that for our great party to win or come out victorious, APC leaders, executives and delegates should make sure that they elect candidates with credibility, network of friendship, Popularity and proven evidence of track records. Nwaogu stated unequivocally that she is the most qualified and best candidate for the job going by her antecedents and previous records.

She reiterated her determination to replicate what she is known for, "I have done it before and I will do it again" "A vote for Senator Nkechi Nwaogu is a vote for emancipation, liberation restoration and resuscitation of Abia Central Senatorial District from the shackles of misrepresentation and legislative redundancy"

She maintained that National Assembly is not for rookies, new comers but for old timers who have navigated through the rudiments of legislature.

Nwaogu recalled the 90% of Principal Officers of the current National Assembly are all old timers, for instance, Senate President Ahmed Lawan has been in the legislature since 1999, Senator Ike Ekweremmadu has been there too since 2003.

The ball is left for the delegates of APC Abia Central Senatorial District to play by voting in Sen. Nwaogu to fly the party flag come Wednesday.
