Agape Golf Events is set to organize first ever Better Together golf tournament at the Sagamu Golf Club, Sagamu, Ogun State.
The Organizers said that tournament is aimed at spreading the
message of the United Nation that every August 9 should be set aside to
recognize the rights of Indigenous peoples all over the world. Agape Golf Events the Organisers of the
tournament said that the timing of the tournament is apt given the evidence
that the rights Indigenous peoples in Nigeria are always in the breach, adding
that the tournament would go a long way on fostering unity among various
indigenous peoples around the country and beyond.
The tournament, according to the Organisers will hold in
Saturday August 13, 2022 at the Sagamu Golf Club, Sagamu, Ogun State. They are
calling on potential golfers to come and participate as a lot of goodies is
accruable to all participants at the events. This event will also be hosting
some golfers from the United States. Speaking to the leader of the US group Mr.
Olugbenga Olanrewaju, who was in Nigeria last week to check out the course and
facilitate partnerships said they are excited to be part of this event and also
as a medium to connect back home. HE said the group of about 12 are golfers and
tourists who are so looking forward to visiting Nigeria.
According to the organizers, all participants are expected to
register, and the registration fees is Ten thousand naira only.
The Organisers are inviting golfers all over the country to
come and be part of the memorable events as the tournament is going to attract
prominent golfers across the country and beyond.
This is the first time in the country that such tournament is
being organised by Agape Golf Events, and have assured participants that is
going to be a yearly event.
