AMVCA: Nollywood Actor, Stanley Nweze Has Asked The Award Organizers To Stop Neglecting Commercial Actors, & Include Other Areas Of The Movie Industry.

Stanley Nweze.

Also known as Astro by his friends, Nollywood Actor, Stanley Nweze has called on the organizers of the African Magic Viewers Choice Award, AMVCA to stop marginalizing the Nollywood based in the South-East if they truly want to capture what the name of the award stands for, African Magic.

Stanley, took a stand after seeing that none of the actors and Nollywood practitioners in Asaba and Enugu, two of the major hubs that has produced some of the finest actors we know today, like the likes of Zubby Michael, Somadina Adinma, Destiny Etiko, Pope Stanley Uchenna, Ngozi Ezeonu, Stanley Igboanugo, Nkechi Nweje, Onny Michael, Chizzy Alishi, Himself and others who are making the industry proud.
According to him, AMVCA should be changed to Lasgidi or Lagos Awards or something else because there are a good members in other areas under the same Nollywood working really hard that don't get recognized, like the commercial actors in Asaba and Enugu.

He suggested that if the organizers could put in a category for skit maker in the award this year, why then are commercial actors left behind?
