The spokesperson for the Coalition of United Political Parties, CUPP, Ikenga Ugochinyere was over the last few days, disqualified by the the National screening panel of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Imo State with one other person.
Ikenga Ugochinyere and one Uche Ben Odunzeh were disqualified from contesting the National Assembly Primaries of the PDP in the state as two men were amongst the 5 aspirants who were screened out by the Imo state PDP National Assembly screening last week.
The Committee however reinstated three of the petitioners; Tony Abili Paschal, Chigozie Obi and Collins Ilo to contest the 2023 National Assembly Primaries of the party, stating that Ikenga Ugochinyere, who if the Spokesperson of the Coalition of United Political Parties was disqualified for gross misconduct and dual party membership.
