The Deputy Governor of Rivers State, Dr. Ipalibo Harry-Banigo was today, Monday, the 23rd of May, elected a candidate to represent Rivers West in the Nigerian Senate, while two others, the current senator representing Rivers and the former Commissioner for Education is to represent Rivers East.
They both won the People’s Democratic Party, PDP’s ticket to represent the state in the upper legislative chambers.
They
are, Rivers South, Senator Barry
Mpigi and for East, Chief
Alwell Onyesoh, respectively.
