Kwankwaso, Ganduje & Makoda. |
“Precious Eze’s Blog” reports that there is trouble in the state of KANO as the governor, Abdullahi Ganduje seem to have lost control of his inner circle with the defection of his Chief of Staff, a serving Local Government Chairman, two member of the Kano State House Assembly, the Auditor and the Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, all join the New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP.
The
current situation say that the APC in Kano State has experienced the highest
number of defectors this time around, as the Chief of Staff is said to have led
other prominent Kano North leaders to abandon the party and joined their real
leader, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso in the NNPP.
Ali
Makoda is said to have announced his defection to Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso’s New
Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) on Friday night, claiming to have given his now
former boss, Ganduje his resignation as chief of staff earlier in the day.
Mr. Makoda and other Kano North decampees were welcomed at Rabiu Kwankwaso’s Miller
Road mansion in Kano.
