“Precious Eze’s Blog” can authoritatively report that broadcaster and former anchor with Lagos based Channels Television, Emana Ambrose-Amawhe has emerged as the Deputy Governorship running mate to the Governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in Cross River State, Senator Sandy Onor.
This
story and information was confirmed by reporters who reacted to the story of Nollywood Actor, Tonto Dikeh being nominated in Rivers State by the ADC Governorship candidate, Tonte and Funke Akindele’s possible nomination in Lagos by the PDP’s candidate, Jandor.

The information available to ‘’Precious Eze’s Blog’’ has that Emana have been in the field since she left Channels TV, haven
contested for the House of Representatives before, had a good outing, coming second place in the field and now, the Deputy Governorship candidate of her party, the PDP,
in Cross Rivers State, joining hands with Senator Sandy Onor to lift and move the state forward.

According
reports, her choice was announced by a letter sent to the National Secretary of
the PDP by the state Chairman of the party, Venatius Ikem on Friday, as the
letter reads, “With all sense of responsibility and after all due consultations
and a formal meeting of the State caucus of our Party in the state, held on
Saturday, the 18th of June 2022, I write to forward the name of Mrs. Emana
Ambrose Amawhe as the duly nominated candidate for the position of Deputy
Governor of Cross River State.
“Emana
Ambrose-Amawhe comes with a high pedigree as her Resume here attached will
speak eloquently to, noting that, in arriving at this decision, “We have taken
into consideration geopolitical spread, ethnic and political balancing, and even
gender sensitivity”.
