DOUBLE STANDARD: Former Ekiti Gov., Ayo Fayose Abandons Own Party Man, Atiku Abubakar Of PDP, Pitches Tent With APC's Bola Tinubu.

The former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose. May have given himself a tool for use in the hands of some of the aggrieved members of the PDP, who lost out during the primary election which produced former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, as he said today, that the presidency must be produced by the south-west part of the country, which has Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu representing the APC.

Former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, Wednesday revealed that the southern part of the country “must” produce the next president of Nigeria.

Saying this in a post on his twitter page, the People’s Democratic Party, PDP chieftain, who also contested for the presidential ticket of the party, alongside his from in Rivers State, Nyesom Wike insisted that the 2023 presidency must go to the southern part of the country or nothing. 

He said the southern part of Nigeria must produce the next president of the country, “The current President of Nigeria is a 2-term Northern Presidency, thus implying that it MUST be a Southern Presidency in 2023 or NOTHING. Awa’ South’ lo kan’. Nigerians should await details soon,” he tweeted.
