The Fear Of Chekwas Okorie Has Driven Former National Chairman Of APGA, Chief Victor Umeh To Quit, Defects To The Labour Party.

Chekwa Okorie & Victor Umeh.

How are the mighty fallen you might say, as the former National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Chief Victor Umeh, has dumped the party he manipulated to chase away the founder and former National Chairman, Chief Chekwas Okorie and took over the structure of the party.

Today, news has it that a few days after the National Working Committee of the party, went to apologize and got Chief Chekwas Okorie to return to the house he built from foundation, Victor Umeh’s shame knew no hiding place as he has finally left the party and has defected to the Labour Party.

His defection to the Labour Party comes exactly six days after he disgracefully got little of what he gave to Chief Chekwas Okorie as lost the APGA Senatorial ticket to a member of the House of Representatives, Dozie Nwankwo, who currently represents Anoacha/Dunukofia/Njikoka Federal Constituency.

He was the National Chairman of APGA for eight years, was a member of the upper legislative chambers and one of his most memorable moments in the senate was his public fight with the former Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha, who also was an APGA member when he became Governor.

Haven lost the APGA ticket, Umeh is now “CONTESTING” the ticket of the Labour Party for the Anambra Central Senatorial zone for the 2023 general election.
