Nigerian’s financial institution of repute, Zenith Bank Plc., has taken it upon herself to keep her customers safe against those she regards as Social Media Fraudsters, asking them to keep their bank accounts safe, protecting your them from social media fraudsters by ONLY discussing transaction related challenges via DM and not in the comments section under the banks posts on any of their Social Media platforms.

The bank, through a circular she sent out today, says that Zenith bank would never redirect you, our customer from Facebook or Instagram to a Whatsaap number to resolve a transaction challenge and if you receive such an instruction, disregard them and terminate the conversation, as you maybe engaging with social media fraudsters.
The
bank says that such unscrupulous individuals hijack conversations, redirect you
to whatsaap and ask you for sensitive
account information such as debit card details, PIN, Token codes and
mobile/internet banking login details.
