This was made public by the Special Adviser to the Deputy Senate President, on Legal Matters, Daniel Bwala, who himself resigned on ideology as he called it.
According to him, Senator Ali Modu Sherriff is likely to resign from the APC to prove to deliver the votes of of Borno State to the People's Democratic Party, PDP, to prove to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu's presidential bid that the Vice Presidential candidate, Kashim Shettima is simply a paper-weight politician who cannot deliver even his state.
This would be a huge set-back to the presidential bid of the presidential candidate of the APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Ali Modu Sherriff's withdrawal from the APC won't be good at all at this time.
