This is coming on this hills of the fact that his son, Ifeanyi Araraume Jnr, has joined that Labour Party and has also picked the senatorial ticket of the party to contest in the 2023 senatorial election in the state, after being denied the ticket of the PDP.

A former Commissioner for Commerce, Industry and Tourism in Imo State, Ifeanyi Araraume Jnr is said to have resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, where he was aspiring to contest for this same office, saying circumstances beyond his control necessitated a change in his political party membership, but this platform isn’t really certain that his father, senator Ifeanyi Ararume, has joined his son, Jnr, to the Labour Party, in the state.
