As it is customary of him, the former Chief of Staff to the former Governor of Imo State, Uche Nwosu, during the last week, took time out of his busy schedule to see it that a Nigerian youth in dare need of saving was rescued and help give to him, to resuscitate him and set him on the part of grace.
According
to a statement made by Uche Nwosu to buttress this fact and to encourage other
Nigerians to do same, says, “Sometime last week, while I was surfing through
the social media, I came across a young man named Chibuzom Uchendu from Ogwa, in
Mbaitoli Local Government Area of Imo State and while reading the story, I
discovered that this young man was involved in an accident which led to the
amputation of one of his legs. I also saw that despite his condition, he was
actively engaged in mason work, going from one construction site to another, so
that he could fend for himself without resorting to crime or to begging.

Furthermore,
he says, “I was amazed, seeing another Nigerian youth who exhibited the
"Never Give Up Spirit" which Africans around the world are endowed
with. So, I immediately picked interest in him and requested for his contact
details and finally scheduled to meet him and his family members and upon
meeting with my dear Chibuzom, yesterday, he told me about his dreams of owning
a business where he could sell electrical appliances.
Impressed
by his ambition, I gave my foundation, the Ugwumba Leadership Centre, the approval
to release funds immediately for the establishment of an electrical appliances
shop for him in Owerri as this is my contribution towards changing the life of
Chibuzo for the better and I can't wait to see him grow his business and raise
a family.
Uche
Nwosu went further to say that “There are many Chibuzo’s across the country and
I want to urge other well meaning Nigerians to please, support young people
around them so that little by little, we can eradicate poverty in Nigeria.
