The President of the Ugwumba Leadership Centre For Development in Africa and former Chief of Staff to the Imo State Government, Uche Nwosu, was yesterday, during the International Youth Day celebration, appreciated by the Youth Council of Nigerian, YCN for his contributions to the development of young people not only in Nigeria, but in Africa.
At
the event which held at the Ladi Kwali Hall, Sheraton Hotels, Abuja, Ugwumba
Uche Nwosu was given as award as the “Beacon of Excellence for the Nigerian
Youth by the body housing all the youth associations in the country, the
National Youth Council of Nigeria.

The very elated Ugwumba who used his social media handles to talk about this wrote, “Yesterday in Abuja, I received a National Award from the National Youth Council of Nigeria as the Beacon of Excellence for the Nigerian Youth. I am so excited about this recognition that came from the umbrella youth body in Nigeria as key stakeholders in the nation gathered in Abuja to celebrate the 2022 #InternationalYouthDay.
Furthermore,
Uche Nwosu says, “I want to thank the President of the National Council of
Nigeria, Comrade Solomon Adodo and his members across the country for
recognizing my little contributions to humanity, especially the youths and
women of Nigeria and as announced by the Director General of Ugwmba Centre for
Leadership Development in Africa, Remy Chukwunyere, who represented me at the
award ceremony, a collaboration with the youth body is what is urgently needed
to reduce the unemployment crisis in Nigeria.
