A former Minority Whip of the Nigerian Senate, Senator Ganiyu Olanrewaju Solomon popularly called GOS has become the newest member of the political body in Lagos, Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC), which is the most powerful decision making body in Lagos State.
According
to a report by thegazellenews.com, the news of Solomon’s
membership filtered into the political circle in the state on Thursday, 13
October, 2022, as many believed that his membership of the GAC is long overdue.
The
Gazelle News’s report says that Senator Ganiyu Solomon has remained steadfast,
committed and loyal to the Progressives and has remained one of the most
consistent and principled politicians in the state.
Senator
Solomon who has represented the Lagos West Senatorial District for eight years
in the Senate is well known for his principled stand on issues and well loved
for his humility, accommodating and magnanimity.
