The Ambassador, Embassy of Denmark in Nigeria, His Excellency, Mr. Sune Krogstrup has commended the President of the Ugwumba Leadership Center, His Excellency, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu for entering into partnership with the Danish Football Development Initiative in order to empower more youths in Nigeria through sports development.
He said this in Abuja when he joined Ugwumba Uche Nwosu and his team to the Turf Arena Abuja, where the Danish Football Development Initiative led by Denni Conteh and Boma Ekiyor conducted trials for upcoming footballers selected from across the country.

Uche Nwosu while addressing the footballers, informed them that as an
organization with a mandate for youth development, Ugwumba Leadership Center
has decided to invest in the sports sector so that more #Nigerians who are
talented in football could be discovered and exported to Europe, UK, etc.

Earlier
in his introductory speech, the Executive Director, Remy Chukwunyere informed
the audience that the only business the Ugwumba Leadership Center has is to
empower young people, and that since the sports sector has the potential to
create millions of jobs for Nigerian youths, that the center has decided to
invest in it by establishing what shall be known as the Ugwumba Football
Academy, which shall be formally unveiled sometime in April 2023.
