According to the certificate of the chieftaincy tagged "A Certificate of HONOURARY CHIEFTAINCY from the Eze of Abba and in recognition her contributions to the development and welfare of Abba Community.

   
Chimamanda was conferred with the tittle of Odeluwa of Abba kingdom by the IGWE PALACE ABBA in Anambra State and she was at the event with her husband, Dr. Ivara Esege, who looked very excited to be in the midst of his wife's Nigerian people.
