Information reaching “Precious Eze’s Blog” has revealed that renowned veteran actor, Kate Henshaw has replaced Monalisa Chinda-Coker after being elected the National Public Relations Officer of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN.
According a statement signed by the National Secretary of AGN, Abubakar Yakubu and made available to “Precious Eze’s Blog” has it that Kate was elected on the 9th January 2023 during a bye election during a National Executive council special meeting to fill the remaining National officers. Kate Henshaw was elected unopposed.
In the same bye-election, Michael Yusuf Michael, MYM defeated Rilwan Ibiefo to become the Vice President of Actors Guild of Nigeria North West zone replacing Alhaji Wash Waziri Hong who occupied the position in the last tenure.
Kate Henshaw will be in charge of disseminating
strategic communication among Guild and non Guild members, as the Actors Guild
of Nigeria is the largest Actors association in the culture sector in Africa.
