Pastor Benny Hinn, a well-known Israeli Christian televangelist, posted a video on Facebook in which he apologized to his followers for giving them wrong information about how to get rich, plant seeds, and sell the gospel.

The pastor says that he doesn’t want to be turned away from heaven on the last day while asking all Christians to forgive him. He then said that he had been trying to say something for a long time but couldn’t.

Pastor Benny Hinn says in the video, “The body must be out of the way for people to get to Heaven on the last day.” This is a message that makes you feel good. I’m sorry to say that prosperity has gone a little crazy this time, and I’d like to fix my own theology about prosperity gospels, planting seeds, and making money off the gospel. When I read the Bible 20 years ago, I didn’t see it the same way I do now. “My father-in-was law’s one that the magazine would usually publish.”

After marrying his daughter, I got it as a gift. It was a way to make money off of the gospel. When we sell these things for money, we hurt the Holy Spirit. “I’m done with the prosperity gospel and making the gospel into a business,” he said. “This is the first time I’ve ever said this, and I don’t care what other people think of me anymore.” I know that many people won’t invite me anymore, but that’s okay with me. On the last day, I don’t want to be turned down. Don’t give if you’re not doing it because you love Jesus.

“Giving makes me feel sick to my stomach, and now that I’m done with it, I don’t want to hear anything about planting seeds.” I’m sorry that I’ve been teaching wrong for so many years. Please forgive me and don’t listen to what I say about getting rich and planting seeds.
