Mimisen Iyorhe Calvin Onwuka disclosed this through her social media account saying; "The beginning and the end, 11 years of everything good, bad and in between. Lord, your daughter is full of praises.
I am eternally grateful, retirement is already
bliss, as the Benue state born female referee made loads of history during her
career.
She became first Nigerian referee at a FIFA
tournament in 19 years, was the assistant referee 1 at the 2022 Women African
Cup of Nations Finals between South Africa and Morocco as well as the first
Nigerian referee to officiate in an AFCON final.
