2023 ELECTIONS: Talking Drum Queen, Ara Stops Traffic In Lagos For Sanwo-Olu, Tinubu (VIDEO).

Africa's pioneer talking drummer and first female talking drummer on world stage, Ara Olamuyiwa, popularly called ARA, made a huge mark in Lagos as she rolled out with her fellow talking drummers from across Nigeria, on a solidarity match for the reelection of the governor of Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu. 

The Talking drummers numbering over One Thousand, trouped out for the walking which started from the top of the Third Mainland Bridge, where they all converged and simultaneously matched to the Governor's official residence in Marina.

The leader of the group and initiator of the "Eko Inspire Me with Ara", Ara Olmuyiwa spoke glowingly about the efforts Governor Sanwo-Olu had put into salvaging Lagos from what she used to be during the last administration before his, to the Lagos that has transformed with landmark projects that are second to non.

On arriving the front of the Governor's home in Marina and on hearing sounds from the talking drums unanimously enveloping into his golden heart, the governor who was said to be sleeping as at the time the team got to his house, rose and came out to meet his friend, Ara with her team who had come to show solidarity and support for his reelection bid and started drumming with her in the compound.

The very elated and appreciative Ara used to the opportunity of the walk to speak on what she expect of Nigerians and her fans as they go out to cast their votes on Saturday.

According her, this election should have not violence associated with it and I expect everyone to go out and vote for the man you believe has what it takes to fix Nigeria. You may not agree with me on my choice, I too may not agree with you on your choice, which actually is the beauty of democracy where we all have our choices and also the opportunity to express those choices through the ballot.

Ara went further to say that, if your choice is Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, go ahead and vote for him, but my choice is Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for President and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu. I don't expect you to agree with my choices, but they are mine after-all and I am entitled to to them, as they are mine.

According to her, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu is one man who has done for my dream, what others before him refused to do and for that, he needs another term to consolidate on his achievements in Lagos in the last three and half years, especially his blue lite rail and other grand-breaking projects scattered across Lagos, as we cannot afford to hand over a working state like Lagos to any amateur politician.

The governor in his remark, thanks and showed appreciation to the team led by Ara, promising to continue his support for the entertainment industry.
