Some of us remember how fowl mouthed Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El’Rufai labeled the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party and former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, a Nollywood Actor and that he had nothing to offer Nigeria and Nigerians, therefore, should not be taken seriously.
Members of the Presidential campaign council of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, had before now, chided that Labour Party were only 4 people Twitting in a room and should not be taken as serious people, the same Peter Obi went ahead to shock most Nigerians with their record and performance at the polls.
Thankfully, Peter Obi’s Labour Party, a party her resigned his membership of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, prior to the presidential primaries for.
After the entire elections, both the Presidential and Governorship elections, Peter Obi remains the winner of the 2023 general elections as voters only voted anyone on the ballot for the Labour Party and ended up with One Governor, 8 Senators, 34 House of Representatives seats, 68 State Assembly Seats and this is coming from a party that was not known 9 months to the election.
And like the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike said, Peter Obi is the hero of the 2023 general elections.
