Eze’s Blog” reports that Mr. Chukwu who replaced his brother’s slot
polled 69,136 to defeat sitting Senator Chimaroke Nnamani who came second with
48,701.

With
this result, Chukwu is the Senator-elect for Enugu East Senatorial Zone and you
would recall that Kelvin Chukwu’s elder brother, Oyibo Chukwu was murdered
during his campaigns for the same position a few weeks ago leading to the
cancelation by the National Independent Electoral Commission, INEC.
