The Governor-Elect Rivers State, Siminalayi Fuabara has received his Certificate of Return from the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in Port Harcourt.
The
ceremony had in attendance, the Governor of the state, Nyesom Wike and party
chieftains who joined Sim to go collect his certification in Rivers today.
Also
present was the Deputy Governor-Elect, Prof. Mrs. Ngozi Nma Ordu who also
received her certificate of Return.

Commenting
on the ceremony, Mr. Fubara wrote: “Today, I received my certificate of return
from INEC as the governor-elect of Rivers state. I am deeply humbled by the
overwhelming support of the Rivers people. Thank you for trusting me with this
all-important responsibility.
“Our
administration will be guided by the principles of transparency,
accountability, and responsible governance. We will work tirelessly to create a
better future for Rivers state, regardless of their background or political
affiliation.
“I want to assure Rivers people that I will be
a governor for all, not just for those who voted for me. I will listen to your
concerns and work with you to address our challenges as a state.
“Finally,
I want to especially thank my Leader and Principal, HE’ Nyesom Wike, members of
the Rivers State PDP Campaign Council, and the officials of INEC for conducting
a free, fair, and credible election in Rivers state. I also want to thank the
security agencies and all those who contributed to the election’s success.
Together, we can build a better and brighter future for Rivers state.
