The Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara made an impression of himself at the just concluded parley organized between the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN and the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN.
The
parley which was held in Port-Harcourt, the capital of Rivers State had in
attendance, all the candidates of political parties in the state, excerpt the
candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Tonye Cole who couldn’t sent
even his deputy governorship candidate to represent him, but a NO-BODY as his
representative.
Sim
Fubara of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and Magnus Abe of the Social
Democratic Party, SDP, were the lead in the conversation, according to
information available to “Precious Eze’s Blog” but the later
was very evasive with making commitment to Rivers people on the platform created
for him and others, avoiding to make commitments on his campaign promises,
especially by responding only indirectly to questions he was asked.
But
Mr. Fubara was all out, reeling out his promises with confidence as one who knew
what he was talking about, even without saying much, as he is known not to be
talker.
At
the end of the event, it was clear to participants that the March 11th
Governorship election in Rivers State if between Sim Fubara of the PDP and
Magnus Abe of the SDP as what the candidate of the Accord Party, Duno Lulu
Briggs did at the parley was to show to the world that he is a Christian by
singing gospel songs, instead of telling or talking to Rivers people what he
would do for them should he win the election.
