Again, Pretty Okafor Is Re-Elected President Of PMAN For Another Four-Year Term.

Dr. Pretty Okafor has been elected and sworn in as National President of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria, PMAN, for another four-year term.

Pretty, whose tenure was due to expire on the 24^th of October, had member of PMAN from the 36 states of the federation, including Abuja converge for the National Executive meeting cum election meeting refuse to let him go but made sure he re-contested and won with wide merging.

The election conducted in the presence of state Governors and their Secretaries had the winner announced by the electoral  committee Chairman with a total number of votes being 50 after Pretty Okafor stood unopposed.

Pretty Okafor is the first and only National President of PMAN to build a national secretariat for the association since the music union body came to form 40 years ago, not only did he build a house to be rented as office for PMAN, he built PMAN an edifice worthy for entertainers.

The PMAN FM in Lagos and Abuja with the PMAN TV station starting off soon, PMAN entertainment city has commenced in Abuja and that of Lagos is starting soon.                                                 

 He is about to revive the famous “Nigerian Music Awards” the mother of all awards in Nigeria and that is courtesy, the man with the vision to transform not only ideas but also dreams, which was why the state executives from across Nigeria refused vehemently to let him go.

According to one of the state executives who spoke with “Precious Eze’s Blog” privately, allowing Pretty to go is letting all he has put in place to go to ruins because according to him, there is nobody in PMAN today who can fit into his shoes and do even a quarter of what he has done for us.
