Some of the women. |
The recently concluded 4th Annual National Women Convention 2023 of the Women Wing of the Christian Association of Igbo Ministers (CAIM) was a glorious spectacle. The one-day event was crowded to its utmost capacity with an audience of the ‘precious women’ – renowned women of God, female professionals and attendees – all faces beaming with joyous gladness and fulfilment at the end of the programme, as they had witnessed the supernatural touch of God in their respective lives and ministries.
In
collaboration with the University of Leadership and Sound Doctrine (ULS)
America, the convention was glamorized by the ‘wise women’ of CAIM, amply led
by Apostle Ihuoma Ugwubujo (the national women leader of CAIM) and flanked by
Rev. Mrs Ngozi Erem (The Lagos State Women
Leader)
The
national women leader Apostle Ihuoma Ugwubujo and The West Coast Coordinator,
Pastor Ngozi Okoro, addressed the convention with their unusual power and biblical insight with a
message entitled: ‘The Precious Woman.’ In one of the highlights of the event,
Pastor Ngozi Okorie (The first Lady of CAIM) used the forum to launch the
Charity Foundation named, CAIM Help Foundation, which was unveiled by a team of
renowned men and women of God and professionals: Bishop Dr. Mrs. Chioma Duaji,
Rev Mrs. Ify Okonkwo, Dr. Mrs. Blessing Jibuike and Bar. Mrs. Nkechi Agubuzor
(the President of Enugu State Women Stake Holders), Bishop Dr. Adol Paul
Obinwaogu, Chikason Group of Companies, Dr. Chima Anyanso, Dr. Chima Okereke
among others.
At
a stage of the event, Bishop Dr. Mrs. Chioma Dauji, sermonized as she centred
her sermon on Proverbs 31 v 30, which explicitly disclosed that ‘A precious
woman is found in the Church, and not outside the Church!’ She spoke further on
women, no matter their spiritual or financial superiority, should always honor
their husbands.
She
rounded off by admonishing women to ‘Love their husbands, share with them, pray
for them and look at them as the best husbands.’
A
side attraction of the event was an ‘award presentation’ to deserving
individuals and like other past conventions, this fourth one was synchronised
with a medical outreach wherein widows were given free medicals and free
reading glasses, wrappers, coupled with some ‘goodies’ to take home.
