The Nigerian Railway Corporation has announced the suspension of rail operations across Nigeria due to what the NRC says its because of the strike called by the Nigerian Labour Congress, NLC.
According
to an email sent to this platform earlier today, the NRC says, “we are
temporarily suspending our train services until further notice because of the
ongoing NLC strike”.
The statement further reads that “I can understand the inconveniences this strike may cause and apologize for any disruptions to your schedule. I am keeping a close eye on the situation, and I will update you once the strike ends and regular train services are back on track.
