Veteran Nollywood actor, Emeka Ike has lost his mum.
The actor took to Instagram to announce the death of his
mother, Mrs Comfort Ike.
“My hero is gone, Rest in peace, world…mother.” Emeka Ike
wrote on his Instagram page.
The actor has been receiving condolence messages from
some of his fans and colleagues.
Emeka and his family received condolences from Toyin
Abraham, Lilian Bach, Joyce Kalu, and other renowned colleagues in the
aftermath of his mother’s death.

Popular for his lover boy role, the veteran movie star
who broke into the Nigerian movie industry while as a student at the University
of Lagos, rose to fame after meeting popular movie producer, Charles Owoyemi.
Since then, he has landed several leading parts in
Nollywood movies, such as “I Swear,” “A Million Tears,” “Royal Calabash,”
“Akunna,” “Secret Act,” and “A Million Tears.”
The veteran movie star in 2021 hinted of his plans to
establish a television station that will focus on Nollywood.
