Veteran Nollywood Actor, Rita Edochie Solidifies As AGN President Appoints Her "Women Leader" For Nollywood.

Nollywood strong woman and no-nonsense fighter for the oppressed, Rita Edochie has had her position ratified as the National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN, Chief Dr. Ejezie Emeka-Rollas yesterday in Lagos, Announced her appointment as Women Leader for AGN and officer in charge of welfare of members of the union body.

Rita Edochie's appointment did not come to industry watchers as a shock being that she has always been oat the forefront of fighting oppression in Nollywood, especially when it reaches home, either on set or in making sure that actors get what is deserving of them from the public.

She is according to the dictate of her office as Women Leader for AGN, embodied with the responsibility of making sure, as its always been with her, that welfare of members become paramount and the women operating either as actors or others in Nollywood are properly taken care of.

During the event where the National President, Chief Dr., Ejezie Emeka-Rollas xtrayed the derivables from the forthcoming AGN International Film Festival in 2024, used the platform to tell the good stories that happened at the 2023 edition as he also formed his kitchen cabinat for the new year.
