Precious Eze's Blog" can authoritatively confirm that Nollywood actor and director, TC Okafor, also known as TC Virus was among those in the boat carrying other actors and crew members in the river niger area of Asaba, the Delta State capital.
Information reaching this platform has it that the driver of the speed boat was over speeding as an expert he thought he was, to the extent that one of the passengers and now dead actor, Junior Pope started cautioning him but he didn't listen, little did he know that another boat was coming with same speed and they colluded.
TC, "Precious Eze's Blog" was told, and two other crew members with them got hold of one of the boats afloat, then they managed to follow that particular boat to get to the surface and were saved.
A rescue boat was beckoned upon to go get the remaining people trapped under the water, including Junior Pope, who was rescued but by the time he was rushed to a hospital in Asaba, he was already dead.
But TC and two others survived.
