Event promoter, record label executive and frontline artiste manager, Paul Okoye, popularly called Paulo by industry players have come out clean for himself on the raging Naira Mutilation going on because of the case instituted against Mummy of Lagos and controversial cross-dresser, Idris Okuneye, aka, Bobrisky.
Paulo, married to Nollywood actor, Iyabo Ojo took to his Social Media handle this morning to claim that if Bobrisky is guilty of naira abuse, meaning that over 2million Nigerians are as guilty of the same offense and had to tender an unreserved apology to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC for doing that, promising that it would not happen again.
His post reads "If Bobrisky is Guilty To Naira Abuse, You know say Over 2M Nigerians will just go to Police Station and report yourselves Including ME, Pls EFCC, forgive us, is not going to happen again".
What this arrest of Bobrisky by the EFCC has done is to instill in people, the consciousness that Naira mutilation is a crime and gradually, we would start witnessing a decline in the abuse of the Naira in parties across Nigeria.
