As the sun set over the bustling streets of Lagos, the Live Lounge VI on Idejo Street transformed into a pulsating heart of music and culture. On the night of Saturday, 4th May 2024 the anticipation was evident for Deela's Lagos Showcase - KINI BIG DEELA? The event, powered by Inspiro Production, promised an evening of raw energy, unforgettable beats, and the magnetic charm of British-Nigerian rap sensation, Deela and boy did she deliver.
The venue was a tapestry of vibrant colors and sounds, as
guests trickled in in their various groups in anticipation of what was in store
for them. The media was amply represented and people took their turn on the red
carpet area to interact and take pictures before the show.
As the DJs took to the stage, the atmosphere started to
electrify as each one of them started spinning web of classic hits infusing the
air with house, afrobeats, trap, hiphop and more that got the audience swaying
to the music. DJS Kahalari. DoghouseTV, St TAJ and Mooney all showed form with
their signature mixes, echoing the soul of Lagos and keeping the energy high

confidence of a seasoned artist in a male dominated genre, her assertive lyrics
and captivating cadence holding the audience spellbound and vibing along. Her
tracks, a unique blend of trap and hip-hop, were a homage to her Lagos roots
and the diverse musical influences that have shaped her sound. With each song,
Deela took all deeper into her world, her lyrics delivered with precision as
she painted vivid pictures of life, love, and the hustle, resonating with fans
on a different level.
The performance of her hit song "LAGOS."
alongside Somadina, delivered verses that resonated with the spirit of the city
and got the audience roaring. It was a moment of connection, a shared experience
between the artist and her fans, celebrating the city that never sleeps.
The Kini Big Deela Show wasn't just about the music, it was
about the experience. The Live Lounge VI Lagos provided the perfect backdrop,
with its intimate setting and state-of-the-art sound system ensuring every beat
hit like a thunderclap, and every lyric reverberating with the audience.
Dignitaries that graced the occasion included Prof. Bobby
Moroe (SA Consul General), Mr. & Mrs. Pretty Okafor (The PMAN president and
his wife), DJ Roland (Chairman Of DJAN Lagos), Maurizo Ferri (Italian Embassy
Trade Representative), Michael Parish (Nollywood Travel Film Festival), Mr.
